As you can see, this light is right on the front of the fort which is placed just below the Golden Gate Bridge. On this day, the fort was closed for reconstruction, so this was as close as I could get to the light. Just as with the Mackinaw light, this light is no longer in use, the bridge provides much better lighting of how to get in. MackinawPoint
