The 1898 lighthouse was destroyed by a tsunami on November 2, 1948. The new skeletal tower is located on the island at the top of the hill about 10 km north of Cape Caution on the eastern shore of Queen Charlotte Sound. ARLHS # CAN-740 (G 5658)
