There has been a lighthouse on Crammag Head since 1913. The current light was constructed last year and became operational in December 2009. The tower is 7m high and a range of 18 miles. Apparently everything used in the construction of the light was brought in by ship and helicopter, with all waste and leftover material being removed in the same way. ARLHS # SCO-055 (A 4608)
