IR 22C Clare Island latitude 53° 49' 38.7" N longitude 9° 58' 59.7" W The light is at North Point Clare Island. The tower dates back to 1806, but was destroyed by fire in 1813. This light is high on the cliffs and is often shrouded in fog. Drive on R335 from Westport to Louisburgh and take the ferry from Roonagh Quay (6.5 km from Louisburg.) No photo available
