FR 332 Pointe de Chauveau latitude 46° 8' 2" N longitude 1° 16' 24.6" W This lighthouse and its neighbor Le Lavardin are two of the first French lighthouses to be built in the open sea, both guard the approach to La Pallice and La Rochelle.
