The lighthouse can be reached quickly via a 0.2 mile boat ride from the
riverfront marina in Saint Helens. Otherwise, you can drive to the
northern part of Sauvie Island and hike three miles to the light.

Tillamook Rock

From Highway 101
just north of Cannon Beach, exit west on Beach Loop. After 0.3 miles
turn right on 5th Street and drive 0.15 miles to Ecola Park Road. Turn
right on Ecola Park Road and follow it to Ecola State Park where the

Cape Meares

From Tillamook,
take 3rd Street, also known as Netarts Highway, west to Bayocean Road.
Proceed north on Bayocean Road around Tillamook Bay. The road will turn
south and become Cape Meares Loop Road, part of the Three Capes Scenic
Loop. Roughly 2.2 miles after the road turns south, you will find
Cape
Meares State Scenic Viewpoint where the lighthouse is located.

on Lighthouse Drive and follow it to the lighthouse.

Yaquina Bay

Take the first exit north of the Yaquina Bay Bridge on Highway 101 in Newport and
proceed west into
Yaquina Bay State Park, where the lighthouse is
located atop a small hill.

Umpqua River
Just under a mile south of Winchester Bay, take Lighthouse Road west 0.7
miles from Highway 101 to the lighthouse. Tours of Umpqua River
Lighthouse are offered May 1 through October 30. Call (541) 271-4631 for

Cape Blanco

From Highway 101, 4.5 miles north
of Port Orford or 8.5 miles south of Langlois, turn west on Cape Blanco
Road and follow it to its end at the
lighthouse. The lighthouse is open
Thursday through Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from the month of
April through October.

Cape Arago

Located on Chief's Island just off a section of the Oregon coast
roughly 10 miles southwest of Coos Bay. From Highway 101 in Coos Bay,
take Newmark Street west. Newmark Street will become Cape Arago Highway.
Follow Cape Arago Highway to Sunset Bay State Park. Shortly after you
pass the entrance to the camping area and before you reach Shore Acres,
there will be a pullout area on your right from which you can get a
distant view of the lighthouse.

Built by Bill and JoAnn Cady in 1990, the lighthouse was activated after
both house and tower were relocated to their present location in 1997.
